Renewing Newfoundland Driver's Licence

If you are moving to Canada, or even just to a new province, it can feel a bit daunting when it comes time to get your Driver's Licence updated. Each province has it's own set of explicit guidelines for each citizen to follow; they do this because the licenses are issued by each individual province's government. While most of the information is different, some is the same. For instance, in most provinces you must be eighteen years old to gain a full license. The other unifying aspect of Canadian Driver's Licences is that they may be used in the states and many other countries because of the numerous international pacts Canada holds.

When it comes time for your Driver's Licence to expire you will need to apply for renewal. This process is painless as all it requires is filling out a basic form and mailing it back in to the Motor Registration Division. Failure to renew your Newfoundland Driver's Licence will result in your inability to drive legally. If caught you could serve jail time or pay a hefty fine, and nobody wants that!
